The process of naming a dog in the AKC requires that the name never be duplicated, so it is necessary to come up with a multi-named dog in order to make sure you will not have trouble with the registration. Since the movie Lady and the Tramp was the beginning of my love of Cocker Spaniels, I am using the TRAMP BELLA NOTTE name as a tribute to that movie. You might remember the scene where Tramp and Lady have a spaghetti dinner at a fancy table behind the restaurant. The restaurant owner/chef serenades the young dog lovers with the song Bella Notte (Beautiful Night). He is a rich milk chocolate brown hence the reference to FUDGE.
